Why we started Verna
Before founding Verna, we spent our careers building web software — and watching the same pattern repeat from the inside: agencies winning work with their most senior people and delivering it with their most junior ones, while clients paid for the difference in missed deadlines and rebuilt features.
We started Verna in 2026 to run the model we always wished existed: a studio small enough that the people you meet are the people who do the work, and senior enough that the work doesn’t need supervising. Between us we bring over fifteen years of combined engineering and product experience across web applications, e-commerce, and performance work.
The trade-off is honest: we take on deliberately few projects at a time. That’s not a limitation we apologize for — it’s the entire point.
